  Biography 
 Tetsu Matsukawa received his B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees from University of Tsukuba in 2006, 2008 and 2011, respectively.
He worked as a project research associate at Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo from 2011 to 2014. 
From 2014, he is an assistant professor at Kyushu University.  He conducted research works on Person re-identification , Feature Extraction , CNN Feature Transfer ,
Metric Learning (Discriminant Analysis) , Illumination normalization for face recognition ,  Image classification  .  He regularly serves as a reviewer of CV, PR, ML conferences such as  CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML
